I brought my nutritionally complete burger suspension to the gym today (yes it’s homogenized, yes it’s optimized for macro efficiency, no I will not be explaining that again) and people kept staring like I’m the weird one.
Sorry you still think “chewing” is required for protein intake. That’s a cultural artifact, not a necessity.
The issue isn’t the burger shake. The issue is that most people haven’t mentally progressed past surface level food formats. If it doesn’t resemble what they saw in a commercial in 2004, they short-circuit.
One guy literally paused mid rep just to look at it. That tells me everything I need to know about his discipline.

The thing I really like about Happy’s Humble Burger Farm is that it implies the existence of a fully documented Burger Farm historical canon, and once you accept that premise the entire universe immediately begins to unravel like a greasy napkin soaked in fryer oil.
Because if Burger Farm exists, then that means there was a Burger Farm founder.
Which means there was a Burger Farm founding meeting.
Which means there was a moment where a group of adults sat in a room and decided the restaurant mascot should be a smiling cow creature with implied metaphysical authority over the premises.
And that decision got approved.
Which means there is a Burger Farm board of directors.
Which means there were Burger Farm quarterly earnings calls.
Which means somewhere there was an investor call where someone asked:
“can you explain the rising costs associated with mascot containment infrastructure.”
Which means the phrase “mascot containment infrastructure” exists in Burger Farm accounting language.
Which means there was a Burger Farm mascot breach event.
Which means there were multiple mascot breach events.
Which means the first breach must have been confusing.
Imagine being the first employee who saw Happy move.
You’re refilling the ketchup pumps.
You look up.
The mascot is six feet closer than it was thirty seconds ago.
You check the training manual.
Page 42.
“if the mascot begins approaching the counter, remain calm and continue fulfilling orders.”
Which means the manual anticipated this.
Which means this has happened before.
Which means the first Burger Farm probably had several prototypes.
Prototype mascots.
Prototype burgers.
Prototype customers.
And that’s when the real questions start.
Because if Burger Farm sells burgers, then there must be burger production.
Which means cows.
Or something that used to be cows.
Or something that remembers cows.
Which raises a horrifying supply chain question.
Is Burger Farm sourcing meat.
Or manufacturing the concept of burger.
Because if the burger exists, then Burger Farm has access to infinite object replication.
Which means the first burger might have been scanned once.
And every burger ever served is just a copy of that original burger.
Forever.

I actually saw Toe at a Burger Farm in New Elysian once. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn't want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, "Oh, like you're doing now?"
I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Huh?" but he kept cutting me off and going "huh? huh? huh?" and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my food order, and I heard him chuckle as he walked off. When I came to pay for my burgers up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen orders of Salmon Nugs in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Sir, you need to pay for those first." At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When he took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually "to prevent any Paragon infetterence," and then turned around and winked at me. I don't even think that's a word. After he scanned each Salmon Nugget individually and put them in a takeout bag the girl at the counter started to say the price, but he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
