Immersion is broken in all games at certain points. Saying Starfield needs to have seemless landing on planets is silly. The loading screen is like 2 seconds now when loading vanilla Starfield anyway.

Today is a special day. Starfield is getting a long-awaited update, Free Lanes, that aims to address a few major complaints about the game. I have always found the universe of Starfield truly beautiful. With all of its flaws, it stands as an enormous open world that absolutely embodies what a Bethesda game set in space would be. This update, paired with the new Terran Armada DLC, seems to have more people interested in Starfield than ever before, and it is fantastic to see people coming around when it comes to checking out this adventure. Is it the perfect game? Absolutely not; however, I do believe it was the target of a few unnecessary hate campaigns. Yes, there were glaring problems at launch, though it's impossible to miss the PlayStation crowd review bombing it due to exclusivity, which is all but gone now that Starfield is getting a PS5 release, mixed with the Bethesda hate train that has followed it since release. Again, there are very valid criticisms to be had of Starfield, but you can easily see the difference between those who gave it a shot and were disappointed and those who looked for clicks and likes by posting hateful rants about it. This truly feels like a big reset button for Starfield, and I am very happy that more people will get to enjoy this universe as much as I did. That being said, today also marks the day that I finally feel comfortable covering Starfield in videos the way I have always wanted. First, covering the main quest and bulk of the story, we can find with Starfield and its DLCs. Followed by videos about each star system and the planets they hold. With the Free Lanes update, it finally feels worth it to do so, as we are getting more points of interest not only on planets but in outer space itself. With the Artemis II mission underway, I think people will be charmed by Starfield's NASA Punk aesthetic and enjoy cruising the stars as humans mark history by being the furthest from Earth we have ever been. Every Halo game made since Bungie left Microsoft has been better than anything Bungie has made since. Halo 4, Halo 5, Halo Wars 2, and Halo Infinite are all superior games to Destiny, Destiny 2, and now Marathon. Halo Infinite is the strongest campaign in the franchise.
