@Thejimpenman 100%, but much of the cause in construction is because they give licenses to too many people that then make severe mistakes. That mistake sends up premiums of all the majority doing the right thing. But instead of solve the problem, they add regulations making it harder for all.

Red tape gets worse by the week. Service, building, hospitality. All of it. They pile on regulations and never count the hours and money it takes to comply. We are seeing record insolvencies. This is why.

@PaulineHansonOz No one has an issue with putting money into causes that actually help people, but not when corruption and waste goes unaccounted for. I'd pick two more areas, investigate hard and clean them up.

We need a “complete audit” on aboriginal and indigenous funding. Taxpayers deserve to know how much money is being spent, on what specific programs, and why its not getting to the people in need, regardless of skin colour.

House prices need to fall! Albo and Chalmers have the balls to make this happen! The most recent Resolve poll, released this week, showed the proportion of respondents who believe house prices need to drop had increased eight points over the past month to 61 per cent. Just 9 per cent were opposed. Across every age, voting and income group, most people said it’s time to end the housing party that’s been raging since the mid-1990s. From renters to investors, from One Nation supporters to rusted-on Coalition backers, from Gen Z to Boomers, all were agreed. @smh

@Omnicentrist @OneNationAus @PaulineHansonOz Exactly. We have been voting in people that couldn't run a milk bar, so surely someone that has run a fish and chip shop would be better....single mum at that.....

@Bombers_Boss You would think as a group, you would come together and be honest with one another. Who in, who wants to leave, who's concerned about future...the whole gammit...Brisbane players said that many of the players were selfish and that is true in the way they play.

Caddy said one of the reasons he extended is he wanted his teammates to know he was committed. He also said it’s hard playing with teammates that are in and out…I reckon there’s a lot in that and a bit of subtle messaging. One reason for the team’s poor performance this year imo

@FreedomAus80100 Unhelpful post for Australia. Dan and Jacinta never going to prison. They were elected members. I didn't vote for them, but that is our system. Respect it and use your freedom to vote them out peacefully.

@chrisbrycki Problem is the people that hold the balance of power (majority of voters) have no money to invest so don't give a shot about what that means for the economy.

Right on cue. Australia’s new CGT regime is already changing investor behaviour. The Japanification of Australia has begun. Capital is flowing out of productive growth assets and into high dividend and fixed income ETFs as investors optimise for tax instead of growth. That’s such a bad outcome for productivity, innovation and long term economic growth. theaustralian.com.au/wealth/investi…

@ausstockchick But, if the pendulum swings back and you've moved your money offshore....again, the risk of investing is trying to predict what will happen. Get it right and you win handsomely.

I picked the near bottom with real estate in 2021/2022 but that was because most people thought the world was ending and I saw opportunity. Applying that same logic, it seems everyone is scared to buy real estate again now… Another opportunity incoming…

Not saying he will come or anything but Essendon fans would you pursue Scott Pendlebury as an experienced leader into coaching role option? We need to land 1 if not 2 of these experienced successful players going forward to help the young core grow.

@BobBurn97207272 I don't think so at all. I think people are chasing a better life and Australia has that to offer no matter what the immigration levels are. One nation will reduce numbers but they won't eliminate them.

Jess Wilson and the Liberals can’t win without One Nation. Together, they’ll cut hospitals, sack health workers and Americanise our public health system. We can’t risk it.

@efcbombers I think the board including Welsh needs to apologise to the members for forcing Merrett to stay. It wasn't in the best interests of the club or the player all the members. Terrible and disappointing decision.
