@lill_williamson I agree ! A large reason many companies don’t move away from plastic materials is because of money. Making Environmentally Friendly materials cheaper can help both producers and consumers!

#2: We need to shift the burden on paying for waste management to the folks producing the most waste. We need laws in place that make it MORE expensive, instead of less expensive, to produce #highwaste products. #ENVIR492 #POECap 5/6

LIVE: Did you know that 15 MILLION metric tons of plastic wash into the ocean every year??? Even worse, did you know this number is expected to quadruple by the year 2050?? This blew my mind. @Jdayuw #POEcap
