Some of key take-aways from my research and internship: -consumers see food sustainability is synonymous with local organics -transparency of farm philosophy and interactions could raise brand awareness #ENVIR491

Another key takeaway that I gathered from this summer was that institutional change within an organization who’s main focus is not sustainability is hard, but the sports sustainability industry is growing and so many people are working hard to improve it. #ENVIR491

Key take-aways so far: 1) People want simplicity. Messaging has to be straightforward and to the point. 2) In this field, much can be learned from what others are doing. Sharing is most definitely caring when it comes to waste diversion strategies. #ENVIR491

I really can’t believe that the summer is ending. It’s been extremely memorable and I have to thank my Site Supervisor, Karen Baebler, for the amazing opportunity and also my partner @MaysenWestling because I couldn’t have done it without her! #ENVIR491
