@FLYGaffer @VPrasadMDMPH That’s the actual problem. There should not be profit at all in the providing of health care. 20% is generous.

@VPrasadMDMPH This is not well known by the public. The ACA capped insurance profits at 20%. The only way to make more profit is if the services cost more, or if there are more services provided. Then the 20% cut is higher.

I see people are retweeting this in the wake of the assassination. That's in poor taste. Glaucomflecken is not actually a student of health policy. He doesn't understand insurance. Denying coverage does not increase their profits. That idea may have gotten someone murdered. Sad
