I m an international student and have travelled first time to Canada yesterday vis frankfurt. Air India needs letter from college. Cbsa has no issues. Booked tickets from a nice agent at no extra cost. Questions are welcome. @Amisha77162691 @Letustravel2 spread the word.

@CitImmCanada We didn't pay money to study online, please there are subjects which is essential to be taught in person, for instance Mathlab. Universities are happy in teaching online as it saves their expenditures, but they charge for every facility even for library, mediclaim. Do something.

@ThePrintIndia 8. Lufthansa and emirates says we are ready to let you board but waiting for dgca approval later on says students are not eligible to travel tll 31st july

@ThePrintIndia 5. Air india says we wont allow unless you have a letter stating that your presence is necessary 6. Some students were able to travel from other countries and from India as well even when their courses are going to be online 7. Some were denied to enter for online classes.

@ThePrintIndia 1. Canada in India says you can travel if your presence is necessary 2. Ircc says you can travel if you cant start online classes due to bandwidth 3. Canada.ca says you can travel if it an essential reason but the list of essential reasons are not yet updated.

@airindiain Why Air India is being an enemy for the international students? as other countries allow their student to live and study in Canada. We have been facing many issue in studying for because of network issue any many more. Please allow us to go without any restriction.

@CitImmCanada As per my understanding, border officers come under your power. Thus, you must inform them that the students who has the valid visa ( approved before 18th March) ought to be allowed to enter in Canada without any restrictions.

@jdkumbhani01 1/4 Hi. The exemption under the current travel restrictions for study permit holders/SP applicants approved on or before March 18 doesn’t guarantee entry to Canada. The final decision is up to the border services officer.

@CitImmCanada I have a plan for 14 days quarantine. My classes are being delivered online, but studying online is not as effective as offline. Although, I have been studying online. The reason behind saying give permission is that if we have issue with any subject topics, we can ask seniors.

@jdkumbhani01 4/4 (due to bandwidth or other restrictions); your studies require a laboratory or similar facility that you’ll have access to. You’ll also need a credible plan on how you’ll quarantine for 14 days upon arriving in Canada to be allowed to enter.
