@jdoc1991 The bigger crappie were at the shallow end of the lake but I caught several 10 inch fish right near the doc and several near the overflow.

Got a fast 15 crappie limit this morning. Now onto night fishing for them this evening!

@TheCrappieNinja We are thinking about heading down south next week to try some new lakes, Marceline is one of them.

@jdoc1991 I caught a few black crappie last week up near Marceline and after being in the livewell for a while they started changing color.

Was on them today till the cold front came down and the wind picked up to about 40 mph. They are starting to get some color to them, but still some time before the crappie spawn kicks in.

@TheCrappieNinja Starting to see them change colors, but that is about it. I am sure that after tonight and this weekend's cool down, it will send some of them back out

@aplusconcretetn We have lakes in missouri that you could take a limit of crappie every day and not put in a dent in the crappie population. Not enough folks are fishing anymore.

@aplusconcretetn It's 30 here, and I could fish every day getting a limit, and it wouldnt hurt the crappie around here one bit. it is underfished that much.

@jdoc1991 It’s a 15 creel limit a day. Leave some for your grandchildren to catch.

@4paulryan 30 in the daily limit. I kept 15 from this morning and wanted to go after another 15 tonight, but ended up tossing everything back tonight.
