Post acquisition, eBay shares are no more.. it's only $GME. GameStop and eBay will consolidate financial statements as one business. Existing eBay shareholders get $62.50 (50%) per share in cash and $62.50 (50%) worth of GME stock (2.5 shares of GME @ $25 per share = $62.50). 1. $28b is paid in cash ($8b from GME and $20b loan) 2. $28b worth of GME stock (1.120b shares) are given to existing eBay shareholders 3. total shares increases by 1.12b for $GME, but those new shares + existing shares represent the new business that is GME and eBay

@jdreyessss @AustinTobitt Exactly. Lets say: Today: GME 10B Post acq: 75B But.. you own a smaller part (let's say 30% of 75B). Your value would increase in this case, even if you are diluted by 70%. (The above math is not exact or correct, just there to show an example)

@jdreyessss @AustinTobitt Ebay is owned by GME post-acq, the GME shareholders are diluted, but own a larger entity instead of a smaller one. You are missing the part where you get value for the shares issued, you believe he's diluting straight to market, but that's not the intended use of this proposal.

@jdreyessss @AustinTobitt No you dont get it. There is a value increase in the acquisition, not destruction. The individual investing $1000 in gme today would likely have more than $1000 in value in GME post-acquisition.

@AustinTobitt Issuing more shares will dilute the share value of GME, short term but at what point do we actually make money? Loopring was a dud, GameStop wallet was a dud, I pray to god this whole eBay thing isn’t a dud.
