@jdrvcy @British_Airways My strong advice is DO IT! Even when @British_Airways know they are in the wrong they will drag things out and try to grind you down as they know many will simply give up and give them a pay day… DON’T!!!

So, @British_Airways cancel a flight. Pay due compensation to one of our party of 5. Refuse to pay rest. So 1 of party escalates to CEDR (ombudsman). BA has to pay him. Now still refusing to pay rest of party unless we escalate to CEDR. Says everything about BA #CustomerService!

@British_Airways @Suzanne_D_Black I wouldn’t hold your breath, phones have been turned off for months now, we put our claim in almost 5 months ago for a 46 hour delay from mcr to Miami and are yet to hear anything. Have claim ref all receipts etc submitted, bank info given but no contact.

@British_Airways what number do I call to get a status on a claim for compensation for cancelled flights which I raised 3 months ago and have had no update on at all?

@dhynes98 @British_Airways Have you received anything other than the confirmation of the claim & the 8 digit ref? That’s all we’ve had from them since putting in the claim 11 weeks ago (our ended up being 45 hours and 2 nights stop over in different states so missing the first quarter of the hol)

@British_Airways I have been waiting 5 weeks for a reply regarding my compensation claim, I understand you are busy but surely this is too long? Just wondering how much longer I can expect to wait.

@British_Airways still waiting for any sort of contact, had 4 flight delays/stopovers at the end of may from Manchester to Miami, got their 45 hours late. Had to pay expenses to cover ourselves while delayed. No help from customer service. Shocking service.

@British_Airways We already made the claim, on the 2nd of June and haven’t even been acknowledged that someone will take a look.

@British_Airways made a claim the day we finally got to Miami, all we have is a claim number and no timescale given. We missed a quarter of our holiday and had to pay out of our own pocket for any disruptions.
