Not one barrel of oil will be used domestically from Rosebank. It won’t even see Scottish shores after it’s extracted. Not any of the infrastructure will be made in Scotland.

@snb19692 In Scotland every project part or wholly funded by EU (and there were many) had a very large sign to this effect. That’s probably responsible in part for Scotland voting 63% to remain. The other parts was good old Scottish nous.

The scrapping of HS2 Birmingham to Manchester leg has been announced whilst the Tory conference it taking place in a former train station in Manchester. This building was refurbished with EU funding, see plaque on the building.
