Roughly 70% of the players in the WNBA are black. Why is this relevant? Bigger, faster, stronger, more athletic, meaner, and tougher with much higher basketball IQ’s than anything that Caitlin ever faced in college. Why is THIS relevant. This explains why Caitlin is shooting 22% from 3PT range, struggling to dribble the ball up the floor, averaging 5 turnovers per game, frequently injured, and getting targeted and torched on defense by role players. This is not a race tweet. Please don’t misinterpret the POINT. This is a harsh reality. The struggles that you are seeing from Caitlin in the WNBA are not anomalies. This is her new norm, and this is the result of her athletic limitations, which are always exposed at the highest levels.
