@Salmonid_ I can understand that concern, im optimistic because I think each generation engages more with the idea of evolution but there will always be stragglers who want to live in the past. Regardless people will at least be more aware of culture and have cool hobbies

@jedwill If anything I think the fleeting nature of socials makes it very easy for older people to get stuck on nostalgic/retro content, as demonstrated by old people on social media now, and I don't think there's much reason to believe our gen will be immune. Would love to be wrong!

I think our generation being so connected to culture because of social media is going to breed the coolest most in touch generation of old people

@thugmajesty7 I think monoculture is a big topic that has different answers depending on who you ask about it, I think there’s enough baseline connection in the culture for ppl to relate to each other and anything more just has to do with your willingness to connect despite differences
