Given the speed with which it was (self) published after the defeat in Gorton and Denton, it was always likely this was going to have been AI written and there we have it.

EXC: .@GoodwinMJ’s new book “Suicide of a Nation: Immigration, Islam, Identity” is out now, and I’m only 5 chapters in and have found a huge amount of what appears to be false quotes and basic misinterpretations of data, that appear to be AI hallucinations. Matthew, can you explain the claims you made in the book that I’ve outlined in the below thread?

So Israel launched those missiles at Diego Garcia, its second false flag attack on a British military base, and Keir Starmer is gonna continue supporting Israel? In case you're unclear, that's treason.

I saw this at the Financial Times. British establishment journalists have been indoctrinated—starting young at elite private schools—with the views needed to oversee the propaganda system Many have literally never had an independent thought. What they do is spout received wisdom So when someone probes one of their ideas it falls apart because they’ve learnt it by rote - there has been no conscious processing of information. They believe something, but don’t know why. They’ve just heard some authority say it The top echelons of British journalism industry are, consequently, some of the most unimpressive people on the planet. Anyone capable of independent thought - and critical analysis outside the confines of establishment shibboleths - is filtered out very early

Iran detected and prevented Israeli preparations for a nuclear attack. We should all of us everywhere be deeply grateful.

That’s nonsense because many of the people who get what he calls welfare do in fact Work. And much of this total is paid to pensioners in return for their national insurance and they would certainly not consider it welfare. But it’s fake statistics like these that can influence peoples beliefs.
Matthew Elliott@matthew_elliott

The Government will collect £331bn in income tax this year, and spend £333bn on welfare. In other words, we now spend more on people not working than we raise from those who do. And the cost? Debt per person has risen from £11.5k in 2000 (inflation adjusted) to over £41k today.

Israel — and its Western allies — have done more than any state to erode international law. Genocide, illegally invading Lebanon, bombing nearly every neighbour with impunity — and they literally started this illegal war on Iran. Now they want to cry about war crimes? Unreal.

Britain can forcibly depopulate an entire archipelago, turn its largest island into an airbase, repeatedly use that airbase to bomb the Middle East, and now allow the US to use it to prosecute an illegal war on Iran. But if Iran retaliates, it is "reckless".

The police can apply to their mobile operators to get the data. They don’t need the physical phone. They can and will use this power against you, they will probably not use it against powerful people.
Kate Ferguson@kateferguson4

EXCL: Morgan McSweeney's mobile phone with texts to Peter Mandelson was stolen. These messages may be lost forever - meaning there there will be gaps in The Mandelson files published by No10. Phone was nicked and reported to police last year. thesun.co.uk/news/38591267/…

@OfSymbols @_Matt3r From the moment I saw Mandelson 'arrested' without handcuffs I've suspected the whole thing will be fumbled, 'handled', or buried. They can lie us into an illegal war, a lazy lie about a lost phone will be sufficient.

ICE Agents Rape Children, Trump’s Legacy Pregnant girls are isolated, trans people targeted, and no one is safe. Under the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement regime, children, including those as young as 13 who are pregnant, are held in facilities where reproductive care is absent and legal protections are avoided by transfers to states where abortion is banned. This is state terror, not law, a deliberate, grotesque assault on humanity. linktr.ee/Drag0nmistress

Can't say I'm surprised by the below. About two decades ago, while I was working for International Crisis Group, I met with an Economist correspondent at their request. This individual, like most journalists, was a serious professional. At the beginning of our meeting the correspondent informed me that, for the sake of transparency, I should be aware that I would not be quoted in any resulting article. This was because the correspondent's editor had made it clear that my name could not appear in print in their rag. The correspondent, courteously and professionally, offered me the opportunity to end the interview. Since I was familiar with the correspondent's work, appreciated their honesty, and have never particularly cared whether or not my name appears in print, I continued with the meeting. My name did not appear in the subsequent article but some of the points I made were referenced, which is what matters. Moral of the story: when you read something objectionable in a magazine or newspaper, more often than not it is the result of interference by editors or management rather than the journalist who wrote the story. There is indeed much self-censorship, but the genuinely dirty work is conducted by ideologically committed commissars and political opportunists like the editor referenced below.
