I think that she would have been ethically entitled to represent both, but due to the severity of the crime and notariety of the case, she decided to withdraw. Can't understand how a conflict of interest didn't exist when AT took the case. IME w/the Public Defenders Office, when their office represented a client associated with a case they could NOT except the client. Have never seen a conflict like this overlooked by a court. #Idaho4
