It is very disappointing to know that drivers can use this service to extort money from passengers without there being any kind of notification or investigation.

Dear @Uber_Support @Uber your driver filed a false “cleaning” complaint against 4 older adults who completed a perfectly normal ride. I was charged $80 cleaning for something that didn’t happen. No response from your customer service via app. This is the driver.
