@jamierkennedy @PGA If he said retained the Ryder cup he would have been fine. He referenced the 45th Ryder Cup so it’s single event that you either win, retain or lose. As Europe won the 45th Ryder Cup, he got it wrong.

@AndyGoode10 Surely they’ve taken an opportunity to bring in a player to cover 10/12 off the bench, instead of another full back when they still have 3 on the tour?

@AndyGoode10 I wonder as well. Farrell no international rugby for 2 years, not selected/available for Argentina. Plays 10/12 but replacing guy who plays 13-15. Steward, Murray, Jordan, Graham all better options.

Don’t see anything wrong with the Farrell calls in fairness, brings lots of experience reliable goal kicker, quality 10/12 wouldn’t surprised to see him on the bench for the tests. Don’t need a 13, back 3 is currently stacked

@ClarkyDrums Disagree with fact that he was never international class and defo not saying he is new messiah - just never had a fair crack of getting on or off the merry go round of 10s that picked up a fair pace. Jarrod starting and Dan off bench gives us a fresh start that surely we need.

Mental that Jarrod Evans was never international quality at the Blues, but now he plays in England, loads of people are convinced he's the new messiah.

Unless there’s a huge salary why would Simon Easterby leave @IrishRugby for Wales? He’s heading up a top 3 nation in world, loaded with world class talent, is a passionate Irishman, has short commute to Dublin & will probably succeed Andy Farrell
