@grateful10Sdad @showfortennis Baylor always has a good crowd and puts on a great tournament.
English

@showfortennis What other college sites come to mind for hosting future NCAAs?
English

@showfortennis How about a West coast location? Stanford or UCLA could easily do it.
English

@407_florida @showfortennis Forget about the fact that on Courts 1-3 there was a very good turnout. It's more like you're pathetic trying to misrepresent the crowd. Don't know what you hope to gain from this.
English

@showfortennis This is the NCAA finals and here's the crowd for Texas v. Virginia on courts 4-6?!!! Sorry... that's pathetic 😒

English

@CTennisNation Yeah squealer is going to look great on your resume!

Coach, with all due respect, I’m not trying to create issues with you or your program, but I do need to be clear about where I stand. CTN operates as a news platform, and when credible information comes in, we report it. That’s the standard I’ve built the page on from day one, and respectfully, I don’t need permission to report any news.
I understand not everyone is going to like the timing of certain posts, but I can’t run a breaking news outlet while also waiting on approval from programs before reporting information. That defeats the entire purpose of what I do.
This isn’t personal toward you or your team at all. I respect the work coaches put in, and I’ve always tried to handle things professionally. But this is also something I’ve invested a lot of time into building, and it’s become a real business for me. Asking me to remove commitment news puts me in a difficult position because consistency and credibility are everything in this space.
At the end of the day, I’m simply reporting information that I receive. Nothing more, nothing less. Hopefully our paths cross again down the road and we get the chance to coach against each other one day.

@ByJustinLee @CTennisNation Andrew signed with us a week ago but we were intentionally waiting until after his current team was finished with their season to announce. He did not have permission to post this.

FWIW: Orlando crowd was equally exceptional when Florida reached the 2021 Men's Final
Completely agree Athens should remain in the mix. Also think it's shortsighted to overlook what Lake Nona can be if properly executed. Fun discussion though!!
John Isner@JohnIsner
NCAA women’s quarterfinals in Athens, GA. Anyone think Orlando is gonna have this juice starting in 2028 for 10 straight years?

@rennaestubbs I have a question for you Renae. How can the NCAA charge 22 dollars for general admission to the tennis championships and expect to get a good crowd and grow the sport. $85 for the 4 day pass, a savings of $3.
English

Hey peeps. Got some questions. Send them in for the pod tomorrow! Have a fun co host tomorrow to help me answer them! #hannahberner

@draloneboy And this guy is next in line to become president. Please!

George Stephanopoulos: “I asked if you agreed with President Trump that Governor Pritzker has committed a crime.”
Vice President JD Vance: “[Pritzker] has allowed a lot of people to be kiIIed in the city of Chicago and elsewhere… I think it’s disgraceful and I think he absolutely should suffer some consequences for the fact that there are thousands of innocent Chicagoans who are dead because he failed to do his job.”
George Stephanopoulos: “It’s really a yes or no question. Do you believe he’s committed a crime?”
Vice President JD Vance: “George, you’re going to keep on asking this question, and I’m going to keep on telling you that Governor Pritzker has failed to do his job… whether he has violated a crime ultimately, I would leave to the courts, but I certainly believe he has violated his fundamental oath of office. That seems pretty criminal to me.”

@CoachMannyDiaz Hey Manny, hope you guys are doing well. I think we need to get away from the crosscourt coverage we see on youtube. Guy gives no background, only rants, screams and curses. What good is that for college tennis?
English

@JTweetsTennis Since very few spectators show up when the tournament is at the USTA campus, TV would be the only way to give it some visibility. If I was you I would also try to figure out a way to make the tournament more spectator friendly.
English

This is a fair take on how the USTA can better support college tennis.
Brian Vahaly, interim co-CEO of USTA shared with Front Office Sports this week: "...we need to take a more active role in supporting college tennis...that starts with elevating the visibility of the college game..."
Securing a long-term TV deal for the NCAA championships at the USTA campus would be a good start!

@NILnotNLI At Montevallo the whole school appears to have been going under. Not a good comparison.
English

@CanesCoachL Jim I know that as far as tennis is concerned the top US players juniors will only go to a limited number of schools. Georgia's women's program, perhaps the top program in the country, can't beat out schools like Duke, UNC, Stanford, Ivy's, so they have to rely on foreigners.
English

@rennaestubbs @TickTockTennis @carsonbranstine @WTA Starting to like you a lot more Rennae. Call it like you see it.
English

@TickTockTennis @carsonbranstine lets get some facts straight. If ure on the @WTA , u get physios, massage & doctors free every tourny. U get relatively cheap WORLD wide med. insurance compared to self med insurance in the US. The tourney pays 4 ur hotel for a min of 3-4 days & every day ur in said tourney.
English

@showfortennis @JackDentsTweets Patrick McEnroe had a chance to do something about this and now he seems to be blaming the USTA failure on College tennis admitting foreigners. Guy is a joke.
English

@JackDentsTweets USTA has definitely fallen short on many fronts
English

The USTA is to blame as well. For YEARS they’ve failed to plug in to the rest of the sporting world. They’ve failed to inspire future and current generations of tennis. They’ve failed to protect and grow. Other college sports will be eliminated in the coming years. SAVE TENNIS!
notyourcountryclub@showfortennis
Sadly, this is just the beginning with where we are headed in turning college football and basketball into professional sports teams What a shame. A really big bummer. Curious what @HunterYurachek plans to do with these beautiful facilities 🥹
English

@TheMrBowz Mark we both know that college tennis has a lot of cheating going on in the background. Why should we invite corruption also, when there's no need.
English

@jeffbernstein5 Thx Jeff. Appreciate that. What’s the difference between betting on Alabama vs Auburn in 🏈 or 🏀 than 🎾? There would be a line like -3.5 or something the oddsmakers create and then a per match odds line for each line. If hoops or 🏈 can do it, 🎾 can too! Just my 🧠 tho.
English

@rennaestubbs I rarely have the sound on when I watch any sports these days. I would never listen to a McEnroe either.
English

@jeffbernstein5 lol, well this proves you would have been one of those dudes in the front! lol....You seem pleasant Jeff, why is it that YOU follow ME then?? 🤣
English

@rennaestubbs Don't think for one second that I encouraged Drake to even go. He did what the school and the girls asked him to do. It's a big thrill for the foreign girls especially. I followed you because I enjoy reading peoples opinions on anything tennis related.
English

@rennaestubbs Seriously the only thing it proves is that I’ve been right to shut the sound off when you’re commentating- Give me a break.
English

@jeffbernstein5 Either way. Whether from them or photographer, this is pathetic. If someone and i mean ANYONE couldnt see that, i dont know what to tell you. This is one of MANY photos POTUS took on this day, there was PLENTY of time for those men to say something before he came in! Seriously.
