@jeffbernstein5 @showfortennis Not trying to misrepresent anything. This is what I saw on courts 4-6 midway through the 1st at the mens ncaa finals and unfortunately for all college tennis fans it was very sad. What is being misrepresented, the original post showed courts 1-3

@407_florida @showfortennis Forget about the fact that on Courts 1-3 there was a very good turnout. It's more like you're pathetic trying to misrepresent the crowd. Don't know what you hope to gain from this.

NCAAs should be in Athens every other year until another site proves it can host the event at this level. The venue has intimacy, energy, and real college tennis atmosphere. Especially when Georgia is involved.

I respectfully ask the NCAA tennis oversight committee to reevaluate the 10 year commitment that was made to Orlando. A decision that was essentially made behind closed doors without giving any campus sites an opportunity to bid on any of those years. I haven't met one athlete, coach, or fan that prefers this tournament be played on off campus sites.

@JTweetsTennis Interesting take, we had a bigger crowd just on court 6 in the stands, not even mentioning the people under the tents for the finals in 2023 than this yesterday. Ohio State must travel better than UT. Not a good look for tv.

@407_florida This picture reminds me a lot of what happens in Orlando -- the limited/no shade means people are hidden from camera view. At Georgia, you probably had a hundred or so people hanging over a shaded banister. The lack of shade at these facilities kills crowd optics.

A decision to move indoors has not been made yet but fans are seeking shelter at the indoor facility, and staking out seats in anticipation of play being moved indoors.

@407_florida @showfortennis Are you trying to change the subject? There are more fans at the matches today in Athens than the entire history of Orlando ncaa matches. Everyone involved with ncaa tennis is talking about it.

@showfortennis Here's what I was seeing... far from a good crowd. Not hating but like I said, I was on court 6 watching Anthrop v. Dahlberg in 2023 and we were shoulder to shoulder

Not sparse Good crowd on hand.
