THE HENRY at Plaza Del Lago in Wilmette, Illinois is opening on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 7am, yes they are open for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. It’s the former Plunkett Furniture on the northwest corner of the mall here. Plenty of free parking too, They have a full menu along with a full bar. I met the general manager Jay Leatherman and the bar manager Brandon. It’s a big place with 110 seats inside along with 19 bar seats, at the bar. There are also 60 seats at 20 tables outside in the patio. I am already recommending it!

I just watched a man have a heart attack at the gym today. Mid 40s. 20 maybe 30 pounds overweight. He was just sitting on a bench. Then his head began to tilt back and he coughed repeatedly. I view this as equivalent to kissing the wall - a sign of respect to the people you are around. Personally, I would do neither, but it’s not abnormal for someone to adhere to the customs of a country when visiting.
