@LauraLoomer There's spin, and there's lies. Why do right-wingers lie about easily verifiable things? The tax cuts in TCJA don't expire until 12/31/25.
English

If President Trump’s tax cuts bill isn’t passed by July 4th, the 2017 TCJA will expire, raising taxes on everyone.
Democrats are quietly cheering for this bill to fail, hoping to pin the blame on Trump if it dies in Congress. President Trump supports the Senate making constructive changes to strengthen the bill, but not at the cost of derailing it entirely.
We need it to pass so we can reignite our economy! Opponents, including the CBO, falsely claim these tax cuts will balloon the deficit, ignoring Trump’s tariffs and the economic growth they’ll spark, which will offset any shortfall.
If Congress fails to deliver this bill to the President’s desk by the July 4th deadline, Republicans will face a crushing defeat in 2026 and 2028, and 2024 will be remembered as a fleeting victory squandered by the GOP majority in Congress that always finds a way to undermine President Trump.

@03Amanda17 @allenanalysis Because transplant patients have to take immunosuppressant drugs, so the vaccines are necessary to reduce the odds of organ rejection and illnesses post-surgery.
English

@allenanalysis Honest question. What is the reasoning, for denying her. I understand she’s not vaccinated, but how does that play into it. I don’t know anything about transplants, and the rules or guidelines.
English

🚨 BREAKING: Cincinnati Children’s Hospital denies VP J.D. Vance’s 12-year-old relative a heart transplant because she isn’t vaccinated against COVID-19, per NYP.
So let’s get this straight—Vance spent years screaming about vaccine mandates, but now his own family is facing the very real consequences of ignoring medical guidelines?
Turns out, anti-science rhetoric doesn’t hold up when it’s your loved one on the operating table.

@agentselfNSA The end result is correct but technically you are not correct. China still charges $5 for the shirt. The U.S. government charges $5 extra to importers when they bring the shirt in. Then the prices get passed on, that's right. But China is not charging more.

@ChimayBlue @theredhombre Supporting Roe v. Wade IS supporting restrictions. It's amazing how few people understand what that decision did and how it was structured.
English

@theredhombre There's no moral high ground voting for the person who couldn't name a single restriction on abortion she supports, who wants to enshrine it in federal law, and supports eliminating the filibuster to enact her radical agenda.
English

Today was a difficult decision for me. As a twice-Trump voter and lifelong R, I've wrestled with the idea of voting for Trump, especially after his post-election conduct in 2020. His lack of remorse, lies, conduct during the primaries, and lack of concrete policy proposals left me no choice but to vote for VP Harris. 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

@stoolpresidente First of all, I doubt your total effective tax rate is over 50 percent. Adding up marginal rates isn't how you calculate your tax rate, so prove it. Second if all, the answer to your question is easily searchable.
English

@GlassbutterflyB I wouldn't, because there will nothing to see during the day. You should let her pull an all-nighter though and not go to school the NEXT day.
English

@notcapnamerica I was just in Minneapolis so I'll guess. There is a large Somali population there, and a lot of women wearing black robes head to toe but also colorful scarves. If I have this wrong, sorry, but I'm guessing it's an oblique and stupid reference to that.
English

@its_The_Dr OMG. Guess who signed it? Reagan. Guess where the money goes? Right into SS. Guess who pays it? Wealthy seniors. Come on people. A tax cut for wealthy seniors that depletes the trust fund faster and forces benefit cuts sooner. Excellent idea.
English

@TheLeoTerrell Another idiotic policy response from people who know nothing about the history here or how it works.
English

@onestpress @DogginTrump This is wrong. You are quoting from a Heritage Foundation report that was meant to confuse people. How could they have ballots when people haven't been nominated yet?
English

@DogginTrump To add to the #2 point: there are at least 3 battleground states (Wisconsin, Nevada, Georgia) that would not allow any new candidate to be featured on a ballot and/or collect votes. It has nothing to do with DNCC in August, these are rules for each state.
English

@gmiller This is actually an easy one, and the fact that you don't know the answer shows a certain amount of laziness or trolling.
English

@tomwatson I like your posts, I like that you push people, and I like that you're provocative. But I disagree with you on this one. We need someone who can argue and make a case. I don't think anyone could watch Joe speak without a script and think that he's right for the times.
