@DanWolken I’ve always been more of a Beatles fan than a Wings fan, but when I saw him perform about 10 years ago, his performance of “Band on the Run” blew me away. Shocked then that he still had it. Not shocked that at 83, his voice is starting to crack. Legend.

As much as I have revered McCartney my whole life, the Get Back documentary changed the entire way I look at him and it doesn’t surprise me that he’s still doing this at 83. He’s 1 of 1.

@BarExamTutor @DanWolken I remember Carole King saying she had been given a song as a gift straight into her head (i can’t remember what song) then she had this panic that how am i going to express this beautiful song without screwing it up. I think this happens with a lot of the great song writers.

@DanWolken It was amazing to see him come up with the song Get Back in that documentary. As if the song already existed, and he was simply a receiver.
