English

Hey everyone, we’re investigating an ongoing incident with Pitch and we have all hands on deck right now. Thanks for your patience and we’ll share any updates here on our status page and in this thread: status.pitch.com

This is spot on. At Opus, we treat AI as another tool in the toolbox to help us solve problems for our customers and delight them along the way

AI dazzled the public with its human-like responses, and developers with its emergent abilities. In spite of the hype, it hasn't changed your life yet. Why is that? @housecor the biggest lift is getting your test data generated via code. after that, (assuming you have a system that can run background tasks) it should be trivial to pre-create test data and provision per test
English

@housecor we have a background task that is consistently creating "test orgs" that get provisioned whenever a new end to end test begins
this gives us:
1. isolated tests
2. data set up codified in version control
3. fast tests since they don't have to wait for data creation

What @RachaelNemeth5, @jeffrey_silver (yes relation), and @vincelinyc are building is incredible. Lets go @get_opus

A lot of folks ask me about how I went from...restaurant wench > MVP builder > multi-$$ tech cofounder/CEO. @sarthakgh got the answer.
THANK YOU (!) for such a great conversation and for sharing my/our story.

@housecor @playwrightweb what are your thoughts on cypress vs datadog synthetics?
English

I’m a big Cypress fan, so I’m shocked to say this: I just switched to @playwrightweb.
Here are 16 reasons I switched:
1. WAY Faster. ~2X faster with 1 core. ~6x faster with multiple cores (uses multiple workers)
2. Tests multiple browsers in parallel.

Announcement time! @NikAgarwal5 & I are excited to reveal what we have been up to the last few weeks: @CalicaXYZ.
Our mutual belief in the primitives of programmable blockchains & their ability to solve real world use cases drove us to work together & leave our previous roles.
