@Mikehomeseller I saw Eric Clapton in concert about 20 years ago. Was the worst concert of a major artist I have ever seen. He never once talked to the crowd and put out zero energy. He just went through the motions and it was obvious that he felt above it all.

@realcountry1953 Heck yeah! I'm from SW Ohio. About a 30 min. drive N of Cincy. People with Southern roots live there. And still lots of country fields out and away from towns.

So I live in a little town in East Tennessee. Growing up, I had friends, family, etc., who would just show up at a family gathering and just play like this.
My grandfather owned a music store and all of my family played music for years.
I miss these times. Young folks should make this a thing again.

Tennessee already had an entertainment district it was called The Strip many years ago. But almost 20 years ago they decided Cumberland Ave needed to be one lane both directions with a few left turn lanes which was basically the beginning of the end. Now it’s just overpriced skyscraper apartments with chain restaurants coming in The Strip lost its identity a long time ago.
