7 years from now Social Security cannot pay full benefits. The morons in Congress cannot even keep the Government open so zero chance they fix social security until the last minute. Do you support cutting Social Security benefits by 23%. Note this is what happens by law if there is not a fix.

@jarett_busacca In North Carolina, we are still picking up tax returns from prospects whose 2023 tax returns still haven’t been filed… we turn around in 2 weeks (which should be normal) and they are in disbelief. Crazy times

I’ve never been more excited to have one of my clients change CPAs. We got all the info to them where we didn’t even need to file an extension and as of right now they still haven’t completed the business return. The only positive if there is any in this situation is that was the final straw to convince the client that we need to go elsewhere

"My lender is asking for a comfort letter from my CPA. What does this mean?" Translation: Something on your tax return doesn't make sense for loan qualification. The issue isn't the lender—it's how your accounting and tax return was prepared.

Have you ever done a demo and been just totally stunned by how GOOD something looks? This happened to me today. I am getting a free trial and trying it out before I post about it for obvious reasons… I am stunned… Just stunned… When is the last time this happened to you and with what software?

@MichiganMattCPA What’s the issue? There should be no education requirement. The exam should be hard enough to weed out bad candidates. The work requirement is more important than the education one.
