My Hubby is a triple amputee, but USAA unlawfully refuses to pay us the mandatory, statutory & contractual vested proceeds due since Nov. 10, 2012.

@davidfolkenflik The Stars & Stripes isn’t actually independent. It gets a lot of money from USAA and won’t report on their frauds against servicemembers and victims. That paper protects their money sources despite the harm that USAA inflicts across all their financial and insurance branches
English

Stars and Stripes Ombudsman: The Pentagon is trying to silence me and to destroy editorial independence of the publication.
The job was created by Congress. The paper's independence is enshrined in law.

@jonstewart It blows my mind that you and nobody cares that USAA fucks over catastrophically injured servicemembers
English

@CaSwoosie @TaraSetmayer @StateFarm Both of Jeremy’s femurs were broken, his legs cut off above the knees, caused by 2 of USAA’s policyholders—which USAA admitted in writing— yet USAA still hasn’t paid us 1 cent of the $120,000 statutory mandatory minimum owed. Jeremy was active duty with 24 years and 9 deployments
English

A bit of personal news.
Has anyone else lost their family property b/c of @StateFarm negligence & refusal to pay?
Because we just did.
4 generations of Setmayers.
Our 100yr family legacy lost, b/c of STATE Farm. Good neighbor is a LIE!
Can anyone help us right this wrong?
English

@ek81307096 @TaraSetmayer @StateFarm I’m a caregiver for Jeremy, who was made a triple amputee by 2 of USAA’s policyholders; we also had USAA. The cop told me USAA wouldn’t pay us fairly, he was right. USAA’s deliberate fraud against us, despite vested statutes and contracts is their business practice: bad faith
English

@NSaneMotivation @TaraSetmayer @StateFarm USAA cheats catastrophically injured servicemembers and veterans with impunity because government officials and powerful organizations look the other way in the face of evidence of USAA’s flagrant frauds against vulnerable victims.
English

@TaraSetmayer @StateFarm Spare your tears. They love your tears, laugh at them, and eat and sleep well everyday.
So, stay strong and come from that position. Don't let them break you.
English

@GlassJunkie98 @TaraSetmayer @senecaprojectus @StateFarm USAA pays (off) thousands of organizations and private and public officials to ignore evidence of USAA’s brazen bad faith conduct against servicemembers, veterans, family members, and civilians.
English

@TaraSetmayer @senecaprojectus @StateFarm I've always said insurance companies are like a mafia protection racket.

@TaraSetmayer @StateFarm Moving forward- use USAA- expensive but it’s GREAT insurance 💛💛💛 thinking of you- hoping for a better resolution to your current situation

English

@TaraSetmayer @StateFarm If an insurance company has TV commercials, they don't have your back. None of them pay. Paying claims cuts into their profits and reduces bonuses for the executive officers.

@TaraSetmayer @StateFarm @StateFarm don’t even get me started on them. I have been dealing with them for months worse company ever. I have to call again today on my claim you get someone different every time. They have caused me so stress worse mistake I ever made going with them.

@TaraSetmayer @StateFarm The job of any insurance company is to collect premiums and then deny claims. Ask any Gulf Coast resident affected by the 2024 hurricanes.

English

@TaraSetmayer @StateFarm After dealing with multiple insurance companies over 30 yrs, insurance companies are in the business of collecting premiums and fighting claims. The claimant must be diligent and persistent.
Insurance companies know they can wear most claimants down and out.
Do not quit.

@TaraSetmayer @StateFarm I’m sorry. I hope people wake up and realize what a scam insurance really is.
English

@renalds_angela @TaraSetmayer @StateFarm Before the Calamity on November 10, 2012, a tornado ripped off our roof in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and USAA would only pay us for half – it’s like getting half a haircut. So USAA just cheats people whenever they want because they can with assertion of sheer power.
English

@TaraSetmayer @StateFarm They refuse to repair my roof, but the man at the office felt it was very important for him to let me know that my deductible was going up I have never filed a claim for my car or my home. They are robbing us blind with no remorse.

English

@TaraSetmayer @soniadeigh @StateFarm State Farm is absolutely one of the worst companies to carry insurance with. My cousin was an agent, and I heard many stories where they wouldn't pay claims. He's passed now, but I don't know how he lived with himself. I'm so sorry for what you're going through.

English

@TaraSetmayer @StateFarm They do not care about your tears. We pay insurance companies to treat us like enemies. How can they harm anyone, unless you are their customer? That's their grift. We pay for them to exploit and neglect us. The government plays a role by making insurance a requirement.
English

@Laxoversight @TaraSetmayer @StateFarm USAA owns judges, government officials, charities, organizations, West Point, and many law firms (who also defend other insurers) and nearly everybody else influential with USAA’s deep pockets: money, power, and connections. Nobody would help us.
English

@TaraSetmayer @StateFarm Folks, we’re all screwed. And the insurance industry is another prime example. They have no incentive to pay claims cooperatively. And the government officials they helped elect won’t do a damn thing for us consumers. We have to tear this whole capitalist fucking system down.
English

@tamilynmsimard @TaraSetmayer @icunurseMercado @StateFarm One reason people don’t know about USAA’s crooked conduct is the fact that celebrities & charities who take USAA’s money focus on single bull$hit promos like “salute to service” thus ignoring USAA’s deliberate lawless fleecing against countless other servicemembers and veterans
English

@TaraSetmayer @icunurseMercado @StateFarm When Insurance company puts too much money and time into commercials and putting their name on football stadiums that's when you know a company has their priorities in the wrong place.
English

@TaraSetmayer @StateFarm Yes, your state’s insurance commissioner is who can help.

English

@TaraSetmayer @ervin_pa @StateFarm My history with SF.
20+ years and bundle auto, home, and life insurance on family.
In that time, I've filed two claims. One was for water damage, and the other was for roofing damage due to hail.
Both estimates came in under my deductible.
This is how they rob you.
