She began berating a 17-year-old female employee. When 20-year-old shift leader August Horner intervened, Grayson struck her, sparking a physical fight in which both women fell to the ground. After the altercation was broken up, Grayson sat at a table, then lay on the floor and became unresponsive. The family and community are calling for justice for Grayson and for Tim Hortons to close its doors.

So I received my salary of about $2,049 yesterday. When my salary came in, I immediately paid my credit card debt of $1,393. It’s a bit high right now because I had a 3-month period of mostly installment payments. My phone bill was about $82 (it’s higher because I’m paying off a gadget). I also paid back the $164 I owed my friend from when we went out. Then I went grocery shopping and stocked up on canned goods, food, and other essentials worth around $246, because I had been out of supplies for two weeks and was waiting for my salary to buy necessities. Finally, I also paid the remaining $164 I owed my aunt for a previous purchase I charged on her card. So I told my sister that in a span of 11 minutes, my entire $2,049 salary was gone, mostly from paying off debts and buying things I had long needed. But instead of understanding, my sister reported it to my mother, saying I “wasted” the $2,049 in 11 minutes, as if I went to a luxury mall and bought a designer bag. I explained that the $2,049 was already allocated before it even reached me. It was just received, but it had long been earmarked for payments. However, my sister, possibly out of envy and wanting to make me look bad, pretended not to understand and insisted on telling my mother that I wasted it in 11 minutes. She seemed determined to make herself look better. I think my sister is jealous because she feels like I’m the one who is loved more by our mother and others during reunions. But I work hard, I’m honest, and I’m respectful, while she tends to focus more on attitude and drama. She wants to make me look bad so she can appear as the more favored one, especially when it comes to inheriting our parents’ 40 sqm row house. Time will tell.

The man’s wife spent all day and made a wonderful pot roast for dinner for the whole family. The man being selfish, intentionally ate it all but a small portion because he was upset with her earlier. She came into the kitchen while the meat was resting and almost flipped out when she saw what was left. She immediately called him down because she knew this was the kind of petty thing he does. If you spent all day cooking for the family and someone pulls a jerk move like this, would you bother cook for them anymore?
