When economists get access to confidential, anonymised data (e.g. tax, Census) from govt's, they write more policy-relevant papers. Official Ireland 🇮🇪 needs to make data access much easier for legit researchers. A real evidence base for policy. Massive open goal for the state.

I dumped a live Ethereum contract into GPT-4. In an instant, it highlighted a number of security vulnerabilities and pointed out surface areas where the contract could be exploited. It then verified a specific way I could exploit the contract

I am of a matriarchal bloodline, I know fierce like the cradle of my grandmother. The women in my family have created all that we have with sheer grit; despite living as tribal/rural woman in one of the most patriarchal and violent countries against women in the world; Pakistan

People were worried about kids plagiarizing essays on ChatGPT, when we should be much more concerned about the content children will see in Snapchat’s AI-powered chatbot that “is prone to hallucination and can be tricked into saying just about anything.”

Minimum wage shouldn't just be dependent on an arbitrary “value" of one's labor. It should be dependent on the value of our time. And surely an hour of our lives is worth more than $7.25 — or less than $1 in many parts of the world.
