The kids (20-somethings) next door are having a full-on party on a Tuesday night. 🥴 I’m half jealous and half cranky about it 👵🏼 I’m too tired to care enough to tell them to shut up. But I could do without the chaos outside the kids’ window.

Volunteered at one of the kids’ schools last week. I noticed a gorgeous addition and was told it was paid for by a foundation or grant or something. All I could think was, imagine investing that same amount of money on the kids’ mental health to beautify from the inside out, too?

It never fails, the moment I find balance and a good rhythm in life, something is bound to shake things up. The universe loves that spice apparently.
