My mom is probably as close as she's been to unsubscribing to FSD (and ironically she loves it most of the time) but the speeds make no sense.. She is not a tech nerd and can live without it as her Alfa Romeo does what it needs to do on the highway - And I have used and it's not great but it's good enough. In the 55 zones around her she doesn't like going 70 in Standard (and that won't change) and the only other option is Chill at 57. It's such a fine line between comfort and annoyance - set at 63mph and she would absolutely love it (like she loved 13.2.9). You may think this doesn't matter but there's a reason 88% of owners don't use FSD and outside of money, it's this fine line of comfort and convenience vs annoyance. When it's a Robotaxi and we do not pay fines or insurance, then forget every single thing I said. But - Tesla just isn't there yet. @Tesla_AI @pduan @yunta_tsai

A day or so back, I posted a really good video from a nice lady on TikTok. It was well received here on X and Elon pinned the post this morning. The original creator asked me to take down the post and I happily agreed to do it. While I feel the video was excellent and had such a great message, there is a lot of hate on this platform too and that went her way. That was never my intention.

@elonmusk I want one bad, but we just dont buy luxury cars. It is a terrible waste of money. Can you please make a version for normal people? Commuter 2 door with non leather seats and no sunroof? Something that costs less than any other car in Canada. You gotta beat them to win.

@SirKnoe @elonmusk Sorry but right now all cars are super expensive. The trade off is that with a used Tesla the car you get is immaculate and you get the remainder of an 8-year battery warranty. You plug in at home and save $ gas. It’s a trade off but one where I am ultimately saving money.

Let me let you in on a little secret. All of Teslas 8 million cars can run FSD the same way the Robotaxis in Austin can. Technically, for legal reasons, I have to supervise. But if I was sitting in the backseat and the driver monitoring was off, it would still drive perfectly.
