Today is #InternationalWomensDay, and that's an opportunity to highlight some of the many women I know who write about science, health and tech. This isn't an exhaustive list -- that would be really *really* long. It's just a bunch of folks who I'd like to highlight.

We publish a paper using yeast as a model system. Gets noticed by a foundation which specifically solicits us to apply for a grant. Reviews? ‘Innovative proposal but sorry we don’t fund work in yeast; come back when you have mammalian data.’ 🤯🤯🤯
