We visited the Catedral de San José in Antigua today. The current building opened in 1680 and much of it collapsed in the earthquake of 1773 that ruined virtually all of Antigua. The part of the church that is in use today is just the original narthex. 1/7

Today is my mother’s 94th birthday. 🎂 She hates when I post pictures of her, but I usually share this little clip from 65 or so years ago. She liked this, because it was a dress she made herself.
