So, in real word beyond the "X" algorithms, it turned out Orban pushed the Hungarian people so far that in the end: - Hungarians turned out in record numbers for the election - they handed Peter Magyar's opposition a constitutional supermajority in parliament - they voted against him so decisively that the very electoral system designed to secure his indefinite rule ended up turning against him - people were dancing and embracing in the streets for a full day after it became clear that Orban was leaving - and, including votes from Hungarians abroad, they gave the opposition not just a supermajority, but a record number of seats in the country’s history And all of this -- despite direct interference in Hungary’s election by right-wing populists from Trump to Fico, despite an extraordinarily dirty campaign, despite an electoral system tilted in Orban’s favor, and despite megatons of braindead propaganda here on "X."

@txghost91 @IAPonomarenko U forget the citizens of 🇪🇺. This put-the-foot-in-the-door-salesman told us ”buy our cars or else”, ”we’re taking Greenland”. We knew then how far ahead we r towards something new n that certain 🇺🇸 influence on our lives will prevent us from getting further. It’s worth the risk.

The simple solution to this is for the us to pull out of NATO and leave all European bases. Then Europe can do whatever they want. Let me explain why the us is agianst this. Europe doesn't have the money necessary to build out it's defense industrial base AND make large procurement purchases. And trying to do so will end in a quagmire, stalled production and low purchase order quantities. Just to build out a navy capable of adequately protecting the waters around Europe and shipping lanes for critical imports, expand production of current air defense systems and build out replacements for systems like thaad/ aegis ashore domestically, modernize navy, airforce and army plus r&d for future platforms Europe would need to spend 1.5-2 trillion per year for 3-5 years to build the base and initial procurement contracts at volume, then shift to 3-5% of gdp for sustainment to get it done in any appreciable time frame, and that won't even be enough to build a force capable of significant power projection or logistics. I don't think you realize how far Europe needs to catch up to the likes of China or America. At current pace they won't even break 900 billion by 2035 and that includes the BS infrastructure spending. The US IS spending trillions to rebuild its industrial base and is now pushing commercial manufacturers to build low cost off the shelf weapons systems.

Well, here we are again, yet another simple confirmation of what’s really behind all that talk about "Europe needs to take responsibility for itself." Trump wants Europe to remain weak and critically dependent on the American defense industry, without ever becoming a competitor, while at the same time refusing to uphold his side of the long-standing status quo -- guaranteeing security and peace in Europe. As always, everyone owes him everything, and he owes nothing to anyone. That’s your 5D chess.
