It’s not a cooking show, but it could be! These seven and eight-year-olds chopped 11 different ingredients from our garden to make a “Ninja Salad” YUM 🥗 Thanks to @GaFarmBureau for spending the day with us! @UGE_HCS

So proud of my Farm Foodies today for listening and following safety rules as they learned to chop sweet potato fries with a chef knife! 🔪🍠 We finished with a “Sweet vs Heat” dipping challenge (Marshmallow Glaze vs Jalapeño Lime Crema). @GaFarmBureau @UGE_HCS

Ahead of Tuesday's #PresidentialElection2024 I have created an election night tracker for students, parents and staff to track the results as they come in. I have also added polling, battleground states, timings and a bingo card!

Took a team of 14 9th graders to @UGE_HCS to do some seasonal reading with K-4th graders. I find a lot of joy in my work, but the happiness & hope that cluster work brings is a certain kind of special. Thank you @jerinpringle1 for hosting & our intern, Bethany, for assisting!

@katebailey1214 They were precious. So excited and complimentary of the classes that they visited. We can’t wait to have them come back many times in the next few years.

I also want to shout out Dr. Jordan, the adviser of these freshmen, for encouraging, pushing, and polishing them to be ready for this experience. Love watching a teacher set a bar high and watching our kids rise!

New group of Farm Foodies kicked off by making fresh pumpkin puree for pumpkin pancakes, and topped them off with cinnamon butter and homemade whipped cream. Yummmmm! 🥞🎃
