The Trees by Percival Everett. Incredible study of the racial legacy that America has wrought for itself. This book is very funny, very shocking and very scary.

All Consuming by Ruby Tandoh was such a fascinating insight into the impact of our evolving food culture on what we eat and why we eat it. So wry that I often felt I wasn’t cool enough to be reading it!

And… now they are Four! Cannot believe how fortunate we have been to see these two miracles develop into wonderful, kind and thoughtful children. Constantly reminded of the luck we’ve had to raise them in a time of peace, when so many have not been for the last 4 years.
