@johnnidijulius He shouldn’t have done it, but I totally understand it. When I was a kid, I probably would’ve done the same. No reason to jam the kids head in the mat after beating him. A little push off or something when you’re emotional I understand but not jamming someone’s head into the mat.

We should not justify or want a society where we seek out revenge on our own. Systems teach consequences: rules refs parents police etc. not individuals. I would want to swing on a punk as well, but it is not on the individual to teach a lesson. The tournament and coaches should.

It’s crazy I really had to argue with people today that someone missing weight by 7 pounds is more at fault for a match not happening than the person who said “no” after their opponent missed weight.
