DS2LE Path tracing build is now on Nexus as V_0.1. Here are some sample shots. Whole game should be playable end to end. Thanks to all the members from community who were part of the project.

I know this is old and silly, but I look back at this one fondly because it taught me a lot about animation by just copying movement from the movie. As a kid I was inspired to make sprite cartoons after watching ROTMK on NG, which I ended up making sprites for as well (part 3&4)

I have never been convinced that George RR Martin actually contributed to the lore and story of Elden Ring. I think it was just a PR thing.

Dark Souls 2 was, for better or worse, shaped by its ambition. It wasn't content to be Dark Souls Again, and this led it in new directions, some of which they were unprepared for. Without Dark Souls 2, they may have hit many of the same pitfalls it did trying to make Elden Ring.

Intriguing interview with Miyazaki from IGN - acknowledgements that Dark Souls 2 was an important stepping stone for Elden Ring, both design-wise and letting directors have more control on projects (Yui Tanimura was both a co-director on DS2 and Elden Ring).

The Children of Dark, Nashandra, Elana, Nadalia, and Alsanna, all have names ending in A, and this is also true for Karla, described as a "Child of the Abyss". The funny thing is though, if that implies one of her parents is also a Child of Dark, Alva is the one whose name fits.
