@krysmalcolmbelc Totally agree. I think it's a pretty common opinion. If you want kids, then they're awesome and your time with them, though difficult, will be amazing. If you don't...well it's really hard, so don't do it!

i don’t think this is an unpopular opinion…i very much wanted my big fam but regularly tell ppl it’s very good to choose not to parent if it feels like you’d like your life without! love seeing people empowered to choose to direct their energy…in any other direction tbh

Unpopular opinion: Having children sounds terrifying. As if I’d lose myself, my relationship, and my career. Yet everyone seems to do it. Are you all happy? Happy mostly when they’re older and you have people to come home for Thanksgiving? I wish people would honestly reply

@rhymeswithbee I think what's lacking is conversation about why parenting is so hard and how messed up it is that people are made to feel that it's they're fault if they're struggling through it.
