We’re hiring!! Platforms such as Slack and Discord focus on raw communication (i.e., voice and text chatting), however, this is not enough for modern online communities. Today, it's all about collaboration. A Minecraft community organizes in-game events, a drawing community sketches ideas on shared canvases, a poker community runs weekly tournaments, an indie game studio collaborates on a shared backlog with their early adopters, a streamer sells their merch, and so on. The next generation communication platform is not just voice and text; it includes voice, text, and collaboration. There are so many exciting challenges in this space, and we're looking to hire people who share the same passion as we do. Developers just brute forced cross-compatibility between Minecraft and Roblox. Excited to see the next step, which will be the first cross-compatible game across the three majors: Fortnite, Roblox, and Minecraft. It will be fascinating to see if the platforms battle it.
