Sigh. I literally began a Civics 101 substack because how in the hell can anyone even know what’s right or wrong? Post war industrial education was a severe machine, hungry to indoctrinate and limit free thought. I get frustrated, and then I try to remind myself that indoctrination has been in our schools for decades. Lost my job, our family lost our church in 2020 because I stood on truth. My husband had to lead those under his command into the initial Iraq invasion under orders of a name I personally don’t speak. Didn’t even have the chocolate chips yet. I held our newborn baby girl, while two year old baby girl slept, watching a traitor address our great nation “My fellow citizens…”. Over two decades later, my hero still calls the momma’s of the sons he was in command of, and who gave their lives. He would have rather taken their place. Veterans give their lives, either with their last breath in battle, or for decades in their mind until they draw their last breath. I’m tired boss. But I sure as hell ain’t done yet. How did I miss 9 World Wars?

They arrested the President of the United States of America 4X, charged him 91X, indicted him 4X, spied on his campaign, sabotaged his first term, jailed his supporters, raided his private residence, censored him, gagged him, tried to bankrupt him, and attempted to remove him from state ballots. When all of that failed they tried to assassinate him not once but four times. And they go on national television to talk about how we need to vote for them to save democracy.

They are delusional. We have all seen proof of her husband’s infidelity, an hers. We have all been aware of her shutting down Rose McGowen’s testimony about Harvey Weinstein. She has zero credibility to speak on behalf of women. Salty and corrupt.

My family and I watched the 60 Minutes interview with Donald Trump and Norah O’Donnell last night, and we were shocked. Seeing a president speak to a woman journalist with that level of contempt — and a clear allergy to facts — is disturbing, though at this point not unexpected given his pattern of behavior. But that is the problem. Because when that level of disrespect from the highest office in the country repeats itself, it starts to trickle down into our culture and define what power looks like, shaping how boys and plenty of men see women and girls and what they come to accept as normal behavior.
