Twice a year, the Earth offers a quiet lesson in justice. For a brief and beautiful pause, light does not favor one half of the world over the other. Day and night stand face to face, not as rivals, but as equals. Then the balance begins to tilt again, as it always does. Which is perhaps what makes this moment so moving. It reminds us that harmony is real, even if it never stays forever. That balance is not the absence of motion, but the grace within it.

Half a million balsa trees are being illegally logged in the Amazon Rainforest every year to feed global wind turbine demand, according to estimates, the Daily Sceptic's Chris Morrison can exclusively reveal. dailysceptic.org/2026/03/17/exc…

Hens need to be being rehomed at end of this month as they reach retirement. These lovely creatures deserve some respite after all they give. See post on Nextdoor: nextdoor.co.uk/p/Bn35nBppFC2b…

Somebody should ask Ed if he knows that once Solar Panels go onto farmland they can NEVER be used again to grow food.... EVER This is a Representative from Michigan talking about their potato farms & what happens when solar leeches onto the fields & the heavy metal contamination. This applies to everywhere pushing these things 🤬. They are destroying our farmland

If you invented a machine that could: - Restore degraded land - Build topsoil - Sequester carbon - Produce fertiliser - Create complete protein - Generate its own fuel - Reproduce itself - Require zero electricity You'd win the Nobel peace prize. Instead, we blame them for climate change. These cows will be tending to their fields as they always have, while city-based career politicians discuss their impact on national climate agenda.

@_louise__ This is a clickbait bullshit article. In reality, one old woman was complaining about daylight lights on her street because she had photophobia (fear of bright light) and after 4 years of legal battle, the council replaced the bulbs on her street to warm white bulbs. That’s it.🙈

A British woman has won a landmark court case that is drawing global attention to the unintended consequences of LED street lighting. By presenting scientific and environmental evidence, she successfully demonstrated that certain LED street lamps were negatively affecting human health while also causing harm to local wildlife. The ruling ordered the removal of the lights, marking a rare legal acknowledgment of light pollution as a public health and ecological issue rather than a mere nuisance. The case highlighted how high-intensity LED lighting can disrupt human circadian rhythms by interfering with natural sleep cycles and melatonin production. Prolonged exposure to artificial blue-rich light at night has been linked to sleep disorders, stress, and metabolic disturbances. Beyond human health, the court examined evidence showing that LED street lamps disorient bats, insects, and birds, interfering with feeding, migration, and reproduction. Insects are particularly vulnerable, which creates cascading effects across entire ecosystems that rely on them. This ruling sets an important precedent by recognizing environmental light exposure as a factor worthy of legal protection. It reinforces the idea that technological progress must be balanced with biological and ecological considerations. While LED lighting is energy efficient, this case shows that design, intensity, and placement matter. The outcome encourages cities to rethink urban lighting strategies that protect human health and biodiversity while still meeting safety and infrastructure needs. #NutraFacts #fblifestyle #LightPollution #Wildlife #Health

@steveburnley @reformparty_uk As this is now our policy, we can formally use it to oppose Net Zero projects proposed by the government. The government and Ed Miliband are the ultimate deciders, but we will and are objecting at every step until a Reform Government will scrap the lot!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 @reformparty_uk ➡️ Lincolnshire County Council Executive have voted in favour of the NEW Environment Policy, which has SCRAPPED it's commitment to Net Zero! ✅ Cllr Danny Brookes - Executive Councillor for Environment: "LCC considers that the commitment to Carbon Neutrality is an UNACHIEVABLE TARGET ❌ which has had no clear funding strategy for authorities at a local level and entails schemes that are a BURDEN to LOCAL TAXPAYERS!" Lincolnshire Taxpayers deserve best value for money 💷 and we will focus on - EFFICIENCIES ✂️ - PROTECTING FARMING 🚜 - NATIONAL FOOD SECURITY 🌾 - PROTECTING OUR BEAUTIFUL COUNTY! 🌲 Reform UK ➡️ is standing up for our countryside! #ReformUK #NetZeroNonsense

@RosieP4 @CommunityPlann1 Thank you so much Rosie for your focus on what matters, and what we stand to lose in short order. It’s not just designated Green Belt land though, all of the remaining open countryside is at risk from these thoughtless urban desecrators.

Are these reports true? What do we really know and ignore? Bees are like canaries in the coal mine.
@ChatsWithEm@chatswithem

Spraying chemicals above our heads And radiation on the ground No wonder bees are dying en masse Almost like there's an anti life agenda ---- An absolutely chilling study from Wroclaw University in Poland just revealed 900 MHz radiofrequency radiation (the same frequency used by most cell phones) can cause severe nutritional collapse in honey bees after just one hour of exposure. These bees, which pollinate over one-third of our global food supply, showed signs of cellular starvation even at radiation levels well below current safety standards. Researchers exposed bees to three levels of radiation: 12 V/m, 28 V/m, and 61 V/m. Shockingly, at the lowest level (12 V/m), bees suffered a 59% drop in essential proteins, extreme glucose swings from +60% to -47%, triglyceride disruption, and weakened antioxidant defenses. In just one hour, their internal systems crashed. Normally, bees regulate energy with precision. But, with radiation exposure, their glucose levels spiked and crashed uncontrollably like their metabolic GPS was scrambled. It was not just behavioral change, it was nutritional chaos at the cellular level. What is even more alarming is that these effects occurred at 1,000 times below the so-called “safe” radiation threshold. According to Dr. Migdal and his team, “Radiofrequency electromagnetic fields disturb honey bees after nutrition. The changes may have long term effects.” Credit Facts Fusion
