Fun day at Jonesborough participating in the first Washington County Robotics Expo! Robotics club drove and coded robots to do tasks. Proud of the hard work these boys have done the past three months!

We had a variety of mystery guest readers come to the classroom to read books about history, diversity, & social-emotional learning themes this month! Parents, my family and friends, community and school leaders...all sharing a love for reading w/them! So thankful for my "tribe"!

We got a visit from the mayor, Chuck Vest, who surprised the class as our mystery reader today! Students had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about our community and its leaders, while enjoying a book where colors came together and united as one in their community.

Never have I ever seen kids more excited to do math than when I bring out the giant manipulatives. Nothing like walking up the number line 2 add, picking up giant counters & putting them in the ten frame 2 visualize making ten 2 add. Super SIMPLE way 2 increase engagement.
