@leeerob It’s not just about switching computers — Nix lets you share your exact project with other devs, and lets you manage multiple projects without conflicts.
The language is a barrier, but you can use projects like Devbox to simplify things: jetify.com/devbox

@avaitopiper I think for now the best approach would be to use multiple devbox.jsons for each subfolder in your multirepo, but interested to hear if there’s a different workflow you have in mind?

@jetify_com hey guys, i tested it out and this works nicely! Just one request - is there any way to install multiple python versions? right now, i can only install just one but our monorepo has multiple packages with different req like 3.9/3.12

Last week, we released TypeID-JS v 1.0! TypeID is a compact, type-safe, user-friendly alternative to traditional UUIDs. We use it extensively in our Jetify Cloud product. IDs are prefixed by their type, and can be checked in Typescript with TypeID<"user">
