Northern activists and elites do not have problem with Malami. In their eyes, he is being persecuted for no apparent reason but they have very strong issues with Dr Betta Edu whose only error was to commit administrative blunders by trusting civil servants. To date, no public funds have been traced directly or indirectly to her. A point which of course can't be said of Malami

@satoshigrudge @Big_Mck I agree with you, the past must never determine our future but that would materialize if we remember the past and learn our lessons from it.

Your ancestors didn’t LEAVE their religion. They were forced to abandon their religion and spirituality. Many people were killed for refusing to do so. This is well documented. And I will give you one of many examples. In the I890s Southern Rhodesia (today’s Zimbabwe). The natives of Ndebele and Shona ethnic groups rose against the British for desecrating their indigenous spirituality, among other crimes the British committed against them (including forcefully grabbing their land for white settlements). That was the very first organized resistance by the natives. An estimated 30,000 Zimbabweans were massacred for daring to protect their land and indigenous beliefs. That resistance is known as the ‘First Chimurenga.’ Always try to educate yourself before displaying your western education powered ignorance in public.

@OpeBee He can't.. even if they charge him to court, they will loose. He said "President", did he mention the President? No! It can be any President. When there is no context, there is nothing they can use to hold him down.

@satoshigrudge @Big_Mck Why can't you Christian buddies embraced their Christian morals and refused to buy? Nobody deal in a trade where there is no buyer. Transatlantic slave trade was introduced and sanctioned by the church.

I, for one, don’t expect anything in return whenever God places me in a position to help. But people like this Jonathan are not worth helping. There was a reason he was imprisoned. He’s a terrible human being. Your benefactor is being defamed by a vampire, and you had an opportunity to clear his name, yet you are refusing to take sides. Egi Nupe didn’t just give you your freedom to even be online, God used him to give you and your family a fresh start. The bare minimum you could have done is to defend his name, reputation, and integrity. You are a terrible human being, and you need to repent.
Jon@Jonatha94547703

To all of you asking me to tag Serah, I won't I don't know how her issues with Egi Nupe started and I don't wish to get involved. Egi Nupe asked for my explanation and I obliged Not like you all care, you just want me to choose a side If this isn't enough, go f**k yourselves.

@Seek_truth963 @KR3Wmatic So, if I leave in Ikorodu and never know any world apart from ikorodu. A flood there would be global to me because my world starts and end in Ikorodu. The biblical people only know Mesopotamia region and nowhere else.

• There was no first human. • Adam & Eve were fictional characters in an entirely mythical story. • There are creation stories older than the Genesis creation myth. • There is no evidence for the biblical Exodus from ancient Egypt, but there is extensive evidence that this Exodus never happened. If the story of Moses and his people leaving Egypt is even plausible, Israeli historians and scholars would almost universally consider it proven, yet that is not the case. • The existence of Noah and his Ark will never be confirmed, because there was never, in all human history, a 𝗚𝗟𝗢𝗕𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗗 that covered the tops of the mountains. Much of the Christian world no longer believes Genesis 1 and 2 as a literal account of creation. Some Christians believe that the Bible creation stories should be taken literally. This means that the biblical accounts are to be taken as fact, i.e that God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh, and that no alternative or scientific theory is considered. The Catholic Church teaches that the Bible accounts and stories have to be understood within the time that they were written. The authors of the biblical books had limited knowledge of science and the world, so the Genesis account was their way of trying to explain what they believed. The Catholic Church interprets the Genesis account alongside science and reason to try and understand the key message – that God is responsible for the creation of the world. Science may be able to explain how the universe was created, but the Church teaches that religion explains the reason it was created.

Let me explain why these cultures are misogynistic. You see, Yorubas do this fetish festival called “oro” and women are not allowed to go out during the day or night that oro is moving. I was doing field work in oral literature that required me to go out with my course mates to see an herbalist. One question let to the other and I asked why women were/are not allowed to see ORO. He said because women are too fragile and might not be able to bear whatever they see and they might start telling everyone what is inside ORO because women talk too much. That’s it. That’s the dumb reason.

One thing foreigners deeply misunderstand about West African culture is that there is no established hierarchy. A foreigner who leads is gentle because his position in the hierarchy is established. He knows his place and others do too. In West Africa, every position is up for grabs. There is no inherent hierarchy, so the leaders must always actively fight to maintain their position, people will be deferential when you have the power, but as soon as you start losing it, they will move on. A long term culture of village-style democracy and a lack of aristocrats means that anyone can genuinely become anything if the circumstances are right. So nobody feels anyone is entitled to any position.
