Fact: The program doesn’t stop private schools from rejecting any student they want. So “school choice” means private schools get to choose their students. Also, private schools are free to raise tuition as high as they want- making it just as unaffordable as it was before. (6/6)

@DeAngelisCorey Corey, how does it work in other states regarding school choice? I only know Iowa. Do parents get to choose if they want to attend a school, or do they have to apply and the school determines if they are accepted? Thanks In advance!

Why can't funding for IEPs be the same, why can't the new state mandated attendance laws be the same? If we want what is best, shouldn't that be for all?

@jfey12 @Bitterroot50613 Publics reject all the time for location, capacity and discipline reasons, privates reject if families don’t want or can’t comply to faith reasons or in the case of IEPs a private doesn’t have the quadruple weighted $ (in some cases) that publics have and so parents choose

@jfey12 @Bitterroot50613 It is trolling because you’re asking a question presuming to know that answer, hoping to catch us in some kind of unfair practice. The truth is anyone can apply to any school, private or public, but said school can reject students that don’t qualify for stated parameters.
