Totally agree with IDS If Starmer is forced to resign then a general election must be called immediately. An internally elected Labour PM would have zero legitimacy. They would waste the next three years trying to fix the mess they have made in the last two. Replacing Prime Ministers internally always delays the inevitable and ends in tears.
