As Teacher Appreciation week nears, understand we have a teacher shortage because we have an attrition crisis. Teachers are leaving in droves because they don’t feel supported, valued, & they are simply burnt out. We need to take care of our teachers more than one week a year.

My students collaborated to build a life size graph to introduce them to the concept of line plots! Each student had an opportunity to plot a data point. We analyzed the data as a whole group to find range and mode. What life size/hands on activity do you enjoy doing? #552Bobcat

Yes!! I think too often people look down on teachers. They see us as free babysitters or someone who only has to work 9 months of the year. But in all reality, we create doctors, lawyers and electricians. #552Bobcat
