Really glad I sold a whopping 4% of my $RKLB shares in the 130s 💀😂
Dr J Rould@jrouldz
Forgive me Sir Peter Beck and $RKLB fam, for I have sinned I sold 4% of my position at $131 Combined with early options profits, this makes the remainder a free-money trade. And still my largest position by far No plan to sell any more Executed trade from Central Park😆

@tjbevi I often tell myself I will get back into CC / CSP strategy. But then I never bring myself to do it 😂
It always stresses me out and I felt like distracts me from my true alpha which is research. An added layer of complication! But some people make the income look very tempting.

I closed out my $NOW swing trade. Time for the postmortem analysis:
- entered too early
- took a measly 10% profits along the way when my first target hit in 130s
- Took the exit today slightly above break-even on remaining cost basis
- I still think this can get back to my first target and beyond, BUT:
- it was my smallest position across accounts
- despite great fundamental metrics (truly some of the best on the market), I AM concerned about long term disruption threats
- multiples still high by "value bro" standards, even after the pullback
- I'm already in other software stocks that I like better
And most importantly, while I see a lot of potential around the software-rebound trade, I'm a lot MORE excited about other themes such as energy, drones, and raw materials.
So I've been making new investments into small caps related to those themes. I will, as usual, gatekeep the new trades to my subs until they have already pumped 😆
As for the $NOW trade, I give myself a C+, and will use the lessons learned to improve my strategy going forward 🫡

@jfredz5 Yeah investors don’t seem to mind which is a good signal
Small cap spec companies such as this always dilute. Only a bad thing if they don’t use the money well!
I added a little to $NRGV at $4 last week im happy with the move. My 3rd largest swing currently

@jrouldz @fundmyfund @Venu_7_ Doc, can you please take a look and chart $XLI and $XLV? Considering them as a hedge to build dca style in the portfolio. Already building $NUKZ and $ARKG.
Thank you.
English

@fundmyfund @Venu_7_ one of my favorite things about the stock market is that each time you buy or sell, there is someone else on the opposite end of that trade - and both parties think themselves the savvy investor in the moment 🤣

@Bradley88995765 @Abomination81 Subscribe to this. In order to avoid buying the top, you need to dca. If you dca, you won’t get 14% one year from now on that amount. How do you work around this smartly?
English

@Abomination81 Except when you buy the top and it crashes 20%. Also that 42000 car will cost you 65k by the time its paid off
English

Paying cash for a car is stupid.
You dump liquid cash into a depreciating asset, its the worst thing someone can do. "I hate payments", well I'm sure you hate being poor too.
Tesla Model 3 base, is 42,000 with taxes.
Buy it for 550 a month.
42,000 put into the SP500 (voo) pays 14% a year on average. Which is about 500 dollars a month...
At the end of the payments you have a paid off (highly depreciated) car, and your $42,000.
English

Impossible to know if it’s too early to start buying dips
But I added one new dividend port position yesterday, and one new swing trade this morning ☕️
As usual I will gate keep these until they start running - only fair to my subs😆

@marvinblach oh, i see, nice! how did you find it? planning a short-medium visit and would love a better deal than airbnb/booking
English

@jfredz5 It short-term rental, I have this apartment for 3 months, but will probably increase the stay because it fits me perfectly at the moment. Everything that you need is in the flat already
