@Anterior658444 @captgouda24 Also what do you mean? Harvard is arguably the most prestigious uni in the states their grad students are expected to be the most productive contributors to the work force which is why they have the highest expected income AFTER they graduate.

@Anterior658444 @captgouda24 They are in grad school though? They’re not working 9-5s. They’re grading papers and hosting office hours. And they’re given a stipend that equals the median individual income in the US. Doesn’t even matter though because since when do grad students need to have “plenty of money”

Harvard should crush the strikers. Don't give them an inch. The good grad students are there to do research, not quarrel.

From the latest missive from the striking Harvard graduate student union, sent to all faculty:

@Anterior658444 @captgouda24 $1200 a month in disposable income is plenty of money what are we even talking about. You can afford nearly 60 coors light from Costco a day and your expected income is increasing on average $7k a year on AVERAGE and you’re going to Harvard 😭

@Anterior658444 @captgouda24 I’m sorry but if you can’t afford a 1 br apartment the simple solution is to half your rent and live in a double with a roommate it’s just not that big of a deal
English

@Anterior658444 @captgouda24 Since when do college students need a 1 br studio apartment 😭
English

@captgouda24 For a studio/one bed room? It indeed does.

insane that Elon was given unchecked executive power over federal spending for several months under this theory that you could easily find trillions in fraud to cut, couldn't find trillions in fraud to cut, and now is just running it back narratively as if that never happened
Elon Musk@elonmusk
The fraud in California, New York and Illinois is far greater than in Minnesota. My guess for how much fraud is happening nationwide is roughly 10% of the Federal budget, so about $700 billion per year.
