‘’#CardiovascularDisease holds up a mirror to catastrophic inequalities around the world; deadly disparities persist and citizens are paying with their lives due to the lack of policy action for #CardiovascularHealth. On this #WorldHeartDay, I call for action which addresses these inequalities – actions on gender which specifically target the high female mortality from #CVD, actions which offer CV risk factor detection programmes across communities, actions which support patients and families in their recovery from the disease to improve their chances of survival and daily lives, actions to further early research on this disease and offer improved access to treatments. ‘’ – message from @escardio CEO @jfriffaud #CVHealthForAll
